Recipe(tried): Easy Cheesy Spread

When I need a take along recipe in a hurry I always use the following!
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 small jar hot pepper jelly, hot pepper rings, or hot salsa
1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained (optional)
chopped nuts (optional)
Crackers
Place cream cheese on a dish or in a bowl and top with hot pepper jelly or other hot topping. For a sweet version also top the cream cheese with crushed pineapple. You can also sprinkle it with nuts.
Serve with crackers. This is better at room temperature, but can also be served cold.
