I had the same problem as you and I found a great quick fix - a thermos. You can put soup, chili, stew in it, it's not just for coffee any more. And I make wraps for him instead of sandwiches. Just take a flour tortilla (soft taco shell) and spread softened cream cheese all around it put your favorite salad dressing (I use Greek, its very flavorful). Layer your lettuce, meat, and cheese and roll with the end tucked in like you are making a burrito. It's very versatile and healthy. Good luck
