Egg Nog Cut Out Cookies
Source: Pillsbury Classic Cookbooks, Christmas Baking Nov. 97
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/3 cup eggnog
1 tsp vanilla
4 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp baking powder
Preheat oven at 350 degrees.
Cream butter, sugar, and eggs until light and fluffy. Add eggnog and vanilla.
In another bowl mix flour, nutmeg and baking powder. Add flour mix to butter mix and blend well.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes so it's easier to handle.
Roll out the dough on lightly floured surface and cut out shapes.
Bake 7-10 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
