Recipe: End Pork Chop and Cabbage Bake

END-PORK-CHOP AND CABBAGE BAKE

1 medium head cabbage, cut in 6 wedges
1 tsp sage leaves, crushed
1/4 tsp pepper
4 large end pork chops
salt and pepper
1 (1 lb) can whole boiled onions, drained

Put 1 cup water in bottom of heavy casserole or Dutch oven. Add cabbage, sage and pepper. Arrange pork chops on cabbage and sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.

Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Add onions, cover and bake 15 minutes longer.

Servings: 4
