Recipe: English Muffin Dinner Rounds (Betty Crocker, 1980's)

Breads - Assorted
ENGLISH MUFFIN DINNER ROUNDS

1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
6 English muffins, split
1 to 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese or sesame, poppy, celery or caraway seed*

Mix margarine and garlic salt; spread on cut surfaces of muffins. Sprinkle each
with 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon Parmesan cheese.

Set oven control at broil and/or 550 degrees F. Broil muffins 4-inches from heat until golden brown, 5 to 6 minutes.

*Or everything bagel seasoning (if using omit garlic salt).

Makes 12 rounds
