Misc.In my family, my mom always made fried chicken with her dumplings. I still do that but sometimes not. I've found the easiest way for my busy day is to boil some chicken stock, add bisquits cut in half and watch them puff up. I like mine a little doughy inside but if you cook them longer, the stock will thicken up. Or add a little flour/water mixture to thicken it. Throw in some cooked chicken (works well for getting rid of those leftovers!), salt, pepper and there you go!
