Recipe: Food Processor Perfect Pie Crust

Desserts - Pies and Tarts
FOOD PROCESSOR PERFECT PIE CRUST

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2/3 cup lard or Crisco shortening
1 tsp. vinegar
5 to 6 tbsp. cold water

Combine all ingredients in your food processor container. Using steel blade, process until the dough forms a ball and pulls away from the blade, less than 1 minute. Do not over-process or your dough will become tough.

Divide into two balls and roll out to fit pie pans, 9 or 10-inches.

Makes 1 double or 2 single crusts
