FRESH COCONUT CAKE FROSTING
3 stiffly beaten egg white
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup light Karo corn syrup
1 (7 oz) can coconut (or 3/4 cup fresh coconut)
Beat eggs till stiff add sugar. Beat 1 minute.
In saucepan, bring karo to boil. Pour over egg whites beating as you pour, beat untill fluffy.
Frost cake. Sprinkle coconut on top.
