I don't know about the Daily Grill's recipe, but I have two here for you that I guarantee you are absolutely delicious, and the second one is both delicious and FAST!
POTATOES AU GRATIN
Serves 8
8 Rsset potatoes, peeled and sliced into rounds
1 (10 3/4 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 (16 oz) container sour cream
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 to 2 green onions, chopped
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In an average size baking dish, place the sliced potatoes rounds, in layers.
In a mixing bowl, mix together the undiluted soup, sour cream, and butter; it will be thick like frosting. Pour it over the potatoes, and top it all with the grated cheese and onions.
Bake uncovered for 1 hour.

1 (2 lb) pkg frozen hash browns, thawed
2 cans (10 3/4 oz each) condensed cream of potato soup, undiluted
1 pint sour cream
salt and pepper to taste
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients, EXCEPT the cheese, and mix well; put into a large baking casserole. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
Bake, uncovered for 1 hour.
