Recipe: Fresh Herb Dip (Lipton Onion Soup Mix recipe, 1987) (blender or food processor)

1 cup loosely packed fresh basil leaves
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1/4 cup loosely packed fresh parsley
1/4 cup olive or vegetable oil
1 small clove garlic, finely chopped
1/2 pint (8 oz.) sour cream
14 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 envelope Lipton Golden Onion Recipe Soup Mix
Suggested Dippers*
In food processor or blender, combine basil, almonds, parsley, oil and garlic until smooth. Add sour cream, cheese and golden onion recipe soup mix; process until smooth. Chill at least 2 hours.
Serve with Suggested Dippers. Makes about 2 cups dip.
*Suggested Dippers: Use cooked egg or spinach tortellini, mozzarella sticks, bread sticks or cherry tomatoes.
Makes about 3 cups dip
