This is the recipe my grandmother used. Seem plain but it is the one you are looking for.
FRIED BOWS DIPPED IN HONEY
2 lbs. flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
water
3/4 glass oil
Make a well in the center of the flour and add ingredients.
Roll dough out and shape. Deep fry.
