Recipe: Ginger Baste for Pork

Toppings - Assorted
GINGER BASTE FOR PORK

2/3 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tsp freshly grated ginger root
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/4 cup wine vinegar
2/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 tsp MSG (optional)

Combine ingredients thoroughly until sugar is dissolved.

Let stand for at least 1 hour to blend flavors before using.

Stir well before brushing on pork during cooking.
