Recipe: Granola Chocolate Chip Cookies (My Great Recipes) for Karen

Dear Karen,
Here you go!

GRANOLA CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

6 tbsp. butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Dash of salt
3 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 cup granola
2/3 cup chocolate chips

Cream the butter and sugar. Beat in the egg.

Combine the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger and granola. Stir into the butter mixture, combining thoroughly. Add chocolate chips. Drop from teaspoon onto lightly greased cookie sheets.

Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until browned. Remove form sheets. Cool on racks.

Good served with after-dinner coffee, grapes, or other fruit.

Makes approximately 36 cookies
