Recipe: Green Bean Moussaka (without eggplant)

GREEN BEAN MOUSSAKA

1 (16 oz) can cut green beans, drained
1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce (1 cup)
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 cup cream-style cottage cheese with chives
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tbsp sliced pitted ripe olives (for garnish)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Place green beans in 1 1/2-quart casserole.

In medium skillet, brown ground beef; drain off excess fat.

Stir in tomato sauce, garlic salt, and cinnamon. Spread over green beans.

Combine eggs and cottage cheese. Spread over meat mixture. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes. Garnish with olive slices.
