Recipe: Seared-Steak Soft Tacos (steak strips seasoned with chili and lime)

2 lb. (1/2-inch-thick) boneless steak, sliced in thin strips
2 tsp. chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp. lime juice
FOR SERVING:
12 soft taco size flour tortillas, warmed
Toppings (optional): Salsa, guacamole, grated cheese, diced tomatoes
Rub chili powder into steak strips and refrigerate 30 minutes or overnight.
WHEN READY TO COOK:
Heat oiled skillet to medium-high. Salt and pepper steaks to taste. Sprinkle lime juice on steak and cook, turning once, until medium rare, or 8 minutes. Set skillet aside for juices to settle, 5 to 10 minutes.
To serve, arrange steak strips in the center of each tortilla. Fold and serve with optional toppings.
Makes 4-6 servings
