Recipe: Green Pea Salad (Kroger's) and Caesar Sugar Snap Pea Salad (Kroger's)

GREEN PEA SALAD

Servings: 6

1 teaspoon salt
1 freshly ground black pepper
1 cup onion, finely chopped
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon garlic powder
6 bacon slices, cooked crisp and crumbled
1 hard-cooked egg
2 packages frozen green peas, thawed

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; mix thoroughly. Chill

CAESAR SUGAR SNAP PEA SALAD

1 cup Private Selection Sugar Snap Peas
3 heads romaine lettuce hearts, washed and trimmed
1 cup croutons
DRESSING INGREDIENTS:
4 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp Private Selection Red Wine Vinegar
3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup shredded Private Selection Parmesan Cheese
2-3 cloves garlic, pressed, minced
1/4 tsp dry mustard

Mix dressing ingredients in a bowl and set aside. Break romaine hearts into bite-size pieces. Add dressing along with sugar snap peas and croutons. Toss salad, adding additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
