Recipe: Grilled Ham-on-Rye Special

Grilled Ham-on-Rye Special
Source: Betty Crocker 30-minute Dinners
Servings: 4

1/4 cup thousand island salad dressing
1 tsp mustard
1 cup coleslaw mix
1 tbsp butter
8 slice rye bread
4 oz ham -- thinly sliced
4 oz Swiss cheese -- thinly sliced

Combine salad dressing and mustard. Stir with cabbage or coleslaw mix.

Butter one side of each bread slice. Turn over.

Top 4 slices bread with half of the ham. Spoon on the cabbage mixture.

Top with sliced cheese and remaining ham. Top with remaining bread slices, butter-side up.

Grill over medium heat 2-3 minutes on each side until golden.
