Recipe: Grilled (or Baked) Peaches and Berries (1980's)

Desserts - Fruit
GRILLED (OR BAKED) PEACHES AND BERRIES

large ripe peaches (allow 1 half per serving)
fresh or frozen blueberries
brown sugar
lemon juice

Wash, peel, pit and halve peaches. Place each half on a double thickness of heavy duty aluminum foil.

Fill the peach half generously with fresh or frozen blueberries. Sprinkle with 2 teaspoons brown sugar and 1 teaspoon lemon juice on each. Wrap securely.

Cook on grill for 18-20 minutes, turning once. Serve right out of the foil. (These can also be baked in the oven; bake in foil or glass dish at 350 degrees F for about 15 minutes or until peaches are done.)
