GRILLED TOMATO SAUCE
20 Roma tomatoes, halved
Salt and pepper to taste
Broil tomatoes, skin side up on a lightly oiled baking sheet until slightly charred and soft.
Puree in food processor. Season.
Makes about 8 cups
