Recipe: Hamburger Spinach Casserole

Main Dishes - Casseroles
How about this? You'd get your spinach, too! I have never made this, but I adore spinach, so I will try it soon.

HAMBURGER SPINACH CASSEROLE

1 lb hamburger
1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach, not thawed
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 Tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup grated Cheddar cheese
Additional 1/4 cup grated Cheddar cheese for topping
3 Tablespoons buttered dry bread crumbs for topping

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Brown hamburger, add 1 package frozen spinach, cover and cook until spinach thaws. Stir in soup, soy sauce, pepper and 1/3 cup cheese. Cook until cheese melts, then place in a greased 2 qt. casserole. Sprinkle with the 1/4 cup cheese and bread crumbs. Bake at 400 degrees F. for about 10 minutes, or until cheese melts. Servs 4-6.
