Recipe: Hawaiian Stack - Barbara, here is a slightly different version from the one I first posted
Main Dishes - AssortedHAWAIIAN STACK
Ingredients listed above are for 1 serving:
1/2 cup cooked rice, approximately
1/4 cup Chinese noodles
2 tbsp. cooked chicken
1 tbsp. celery, chopped
2 tbsp. crushed pineapple
1 tbsp. chopped green onion
2 tbsp. grated coconut
2 tbsp. slivered almonds
2 tbsp. grated colby cheese
Gravy (chicken broth thickened with cornstarch)
Prepare each item listed ahead of time - warming only the gravy, chicken and rice before serving. Stack ingredients as listed and cover with clean, thin gravy (broth with cornstarch).
Three pounds chicken serves 10 people.
