Recipe(tried): Liver Sausage - Gladys wins!

Main Dishes - Assorted
While it's been quite some time since I posted this request in the first place, I wanted to take a moment and thank Gladys for her liver "sausage" recipe.

I waited until my husband went out of town and then boiled up the recipe, ground to my hearts (excuse the pun please) content, changed the recipe slightly by substituting barley for the rice and....there it was, the liver "stuff" from my childhood!

Thank you, thank you! (though sorry to say my husband doesn't thank you because now there are several containers of liver sausage in the freezer and I've subjected him to the liver smells on several occasions. *giggle*)

And Rob...this is not really a "sausage" at all. Think of it as looking like cooked ground beef when it's ready to be made into chili or sloppy joes.

Dang it...now I'm hungry for it again.
*grin*
