Recipe: Herbed Round Steak (crock pot)

CROCK POT HERBED ROUND STEAK

2 lb. beef round steak, cut in serving portions
1 tbsp. cooking oil
1 onion
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of broccoli soup
1/4 cup red or white wine
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper

In a skillet brown meat in hot oil.

Place onion in bottom of 4 quart crock pot. Place browned meat over the onion.

In a bowl combine remaining ingredients; pour over meat.

Cover crock pot and cook on HIGH for 5 hours.

SERVING SUGGESTION:
Serve over rice with steamed broccoli side dish.
