Here are some recipes to experiment with as replacements for commercial frozen dinners you're interested in duplicating:
For Alfredo Chicken (Grilled seasoned white chicken, pasta in an Alfredo Cheese Sauce with broccoli, carrots and garden peas):
- Chicken Alfredo Casserole
- Vegetable and Chicken Alfredo
- Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo
For Beef Steak and Garlic Potato (garlic Herb Seasoned Potatoes and Beef Steak with Carrots, Green Beans and Onions):
- Garlic Potatoes
For Chicken Fajita (Green, Yellow and Red Peppers in a Fajita Sauce with Onions and Grilled White Chicken):
- Chicken Fajitas A-La-Crock Pot
- Chicken Fajitas Using Grilled Chicken Breasts
- Chicken Fajita Marinade
Chicken Stir-Fry (Carrots, Broccoli and Red Peppers in a Stir Fry Sauce with Seasoned White Chicken and Pasta):
- Do-Ahead Stir Fry Sauce
- Mix & Match Stir-Fry
For Garlic Chicken or Garlic Shrimp (Pasta in a Garlic Sauce with Grilled Seasoned White Chicken, Broccoli, Corn and Carrots):
- Chicken Scampi (like Olive Garden)
- Shrimp Scampi
- Scampi Sauce
For Garden Herb Chicken (Grilled Seasoned White Chicken with Pasta, Sugar Snap Peas, Carrots, Corn and Garden Peas in a Parsley Herb Sauce):
- 17 Pasta Sauces (including Creamy Herb Sauce)
For Pesto Chicken Primavera (Pasta al Pesto and Grilled Seasoned White Chicken with Broccoli, Carrots, Yellow Squash and Red Peppers):
- Pesto sauce is available in jars if you don't want to make your own.
- Homemade pesto may be frozen in ice cube trays then the frozen cubes can be stored in plastic bags in the freezer.
- Basil Pesto
For Teriyaki Chicken (Rice in a Teriyaki Sauce with Seasoned White Chicken, Broccoli, Carrots and Sugar Snap Peas):
- Teriyaki sauce may be purchased. You'll should find it near the soy sauce in your grocery store.
- Teriyaki Sauce for Stir Fry
- Chicken Tariyaki Dinner
For Three Cheese Chicken (Pasta in a Three Cheese Sauce with Broccoli, Grilled Seasoned White Chicken, Corn and Carrots):
- Spaghetti Broccoli Casserole and Spaghettie with Broccoli Sauce
- Pasta ala Rhonda
Try freezing a small amount of almost everything you cook to see how you like the results when they're reheated. Keep notes on the results. You may be surprised that some of your favorite dishes freeze well!
