Recipe: Honey-Lime Chicken Wings

Appetizers and Snacks
HONEY-LIME WINGS

about 2 lbs chicken wings
1/4 cup liquid honey
2 tbsp lime juice
finely grated peel of 1 lime
1 clove garlic, finely minced
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Preheat broiler. Set a rack on a foil-lined baking sheet or broiler pan.

Remove wing tips and cut in half. Place wings on rack, spacing 1/2 inch apart.

Broil 3 inches from element for 8 to 10 minutes, until golden brown and skin is crisp. Turn and continue to broil 8 to 10 more minutes, or until golden brown and chicken is cooked.

Meanwhile, stir remaining ingredients together in a large bowl. When wings are cooked toss in honey mixture. Serve, drizzling mixture over wings.

Makes about 36 servings
