HOW TO BROIL OR BAKE BACON

TO BROIL BACON:
Place bacon slices flat on a rack in a shallow baking pan. Place about 3 or 4 inches from heat. Broil slowly for about 8 minutes, turning once or twice.
TO BAKE BACON:
Place bacon slices flat on a rack in a shallow baking pan. Bake about 15 minutes in a moderate oven, 350 degrees F, until slightly brown and crisp. No need to turn.
