Recipe: How to fix salty pickles

I use that recipe and don't find them too salty, but each person has different tastes. Did you use regular canning and pickling salt? Different types of salts do measure differently. Kosher salt is usually weighed, not measured due to the difference in how it measures.

You can try soaking them in water, but will lose some of the flavor. Also, perhaps drain off a little of the brine when you open a jar, and then add a little water to see if that helps. Some people, when unhappy with their pickle results, grind and use for relish in potato and macaroni salads, etc. That way they can still be used.
