HOW TO FREEZE FRESH TOMATOES
Dip whole tomatoes in boiling water just until skins split.
Remove from water with slotted spoon (because there are usually lots more to cook and I don't want to keep boiling more water!). Place in cold water until cool enough to handle.
Remove the skin from the tomatoes (skin comes off very easily after boiling). Remove cores and cut the tomatoes up. Put them in freezer bags. Seal and freeze.
They are great in chili, spaghetti sauce, etc. Enjoy!
