Recipe: James McNair's Pound Cake Recipe with 11 Variations

Desserts - Cakes
Hello Zoe, I'm sure your daughter will love whatever you decide to send! Regarding the chocolate chip cookie, I think you may run into a problem with the chips and decorations melting in transit. How about a chocolate pound cake or another flavor baked as in a loaf or bundt pan along with a box of birthday candles?

We have a pound cake recipe featured here from James McNair's Cakes cookbook that has some wonderful variations along with it for:

Almond Pound Cake
Chocolate Pound Cake
Coconut Pound Cake
Cornmeal Pound Cake
Ginger Pound Cake
Lemon Pound Cake
Orange or Tangerine Pound Cake
Peanut Butter Pound Cake
Pineapple Pound Cake
Spiced Pound Cake
