Recipe(tried): Jo Mazotti (Hamburger and Ratatouille Casserole)

Main Dishes - Beef and Other Meats
Hi, this is my first post after many moons of checking the site. My mum used to make this recipe, but when she passed in 96, I thought it lost forever, then last year I mentioned it to mu sis Sue in England, she had it all the time! Here it is.

Jo Mazotti

1 lb minced (ground) beef
1 tin ratatouille (over here you have to make it fresh or use frozen which has been cooked according to the directions)
1 tin Tomatoes, I use the large tin about 28 oz
Herbs incl mixed and garlic
1 tin canned mushrooms, only if you like
generous amount of egg noodles
Cheese, any type you like, grated, and as much as you like.

Brown mince, mix in rataouille and all else. Cook pasta according to package directions.
Mix mince and pasta and put in a pyrex (ovenproof dish). Cover with grated cheese and cook in 350f oven for 1/2 hour until cheese is crunchy.
Serve with garlic bread.
