LAYERED BANANA DESSERT
This dessert is indescribably delicious and presents beautifully!
2 cubes (1 cup) butter, divided
1/2 cup flour
2 cups chopped walnuts, divided
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 large container Cool Whip, divided
3 to 4 bananas, sliced
2 small pkgs (3 oz each) instant pudding (your flavor choice)
3 cups of milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 (8 oz) pkg flaked coconut
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
1ST LAYER:
Mix together 1 1/2 cubes (3/4 cup) of the butter, flour and 1/2 cup of the walnuts. Press into a 9x11 inch baking dish.
Bake only until lightly browned. Cool.
2ND LAYER:
Mix together 2-3 cups of the Cool Whipe, cream cheese, and 1 cup of the powdered sugar. Spread on top of cooled cooked crust. Place banana slices on top.
3RD LAYER:
Mix instant pudding with the milk and vanilla. Pour on top of bananas.
4TH LAYER:
Add remaining Cool Whip on top and sprinkle with coconut remaining 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts.
