LAZY BETTY - GREAT DESSERT

2 cans prepared cherry pie filling
1 (2-layer-size) box yellow cake mix
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted
Chopped nuts (optional, for sprinkling over top)
Vanilla ice cream (for serving)

Place pie filling in the bottom of a 9x12-inch casserole dish. Pour dry cake mix over the cherries and spread evenly - do not mix. Pour melted butter over dry mix. Sprinkle nuts over top, if using.

Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes.

Best served with vanilla ice cream. Deeeeeelicious!
