Recipe(tried): Lo-Cal Ginger Carrots

LO-CAL GINGER CARROTS

3 medium carrots, cut in 3x1 1/4-inch strips
1 teaspoon reduced calorie margarine
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger

Cook carrots in a small amount of boiling water until crisp and tender. Drain and set aside.

Melt margarine in a saucepan. Stir in sugar and ginger. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until sugar melts.

Add carrots, cook stirring gently, until carrots are well coated and hot.
