Recipe: Macaroons
Misc. Macaroons
2 1/2 cups shredded coconut meat
1/3 cup flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup condensed milk, sweetened
1 teaspoon vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheet.
Toss coconut with flour and salt. Add sweetened condensed milk and vanilla; mix well. Drop by tsp. on prepared cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned around edges. Immediately remove from baking sheets (macaroons will stick if allowed to cool.) Store loosely covered at room temperature.
This is a recipe to make macaroons, but I don't see why you can't make it into a pie crust.
