Manicotti with meat filling
18 large manicotti pasta
1 1/2 lb ground beef
2 tbsp oil
3 slices bread, crumbled
2/3 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
2 cups mozzarella cheese, grated
1 tbsp parsley, chopped
1/2 tsp salt
dash pepper
28 oz can spaghetti sauce
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Cook manicotti as package directs. Brown meat in oil in frying pan; drain. Combine bread and milk; allow to stand 2 minutes. Add cooked meat and remaining ingredients, except spaghetti sauce and parmesan cheese. Fill cooked manicotti with meat filling. Pour 1/2 of spaghetti sauce in bottom of pan; arrange manicotti in pan. Pour remaining sauce over manicotti; sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake, covered, in 350*F oven for 45 minutes.
