Recipe: Macaroni Meat Casserole

Macaroni Meat Casserole

1/2 cup macaroni, cooked and cooled
3/4 lb ground beef
1 can tomato soup
8-10 soda (soup) crackers,crushed
1 tsp butter/margarine
1 large onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup grated cheese

Put cooked macaroni in bottom of 1 1/2 quart casserole. Brown meat in butter, then pour over macaroni. Spread onion over the meat. Cover with tomato soup. Spread cheese over this, then the cracker crumbs. Sprinkle salt and pepper over this, and other spices of your choice, if you so wish. Bake at 350*F for one hour.
