I'm not familiar with the dish that you mentioned so I don't know exactly what you are looking for in a Maple Cream/Sauce, but you might want to try this one:

I have made it before-it's quite yummy, it sounds like it might be close. It's from Applebee's. Don't be put off by the walnuts in the title or the recipe for that matter, they are only optional and are easily left out. It's a wonderful sauce and very easy to make. It might be what you are looking for, or at least an acceptable substitute.
