Recipe: Milk Shakes (19)

Misc.
some of these are healthier than others. to make them more protein rich, i would suggest adding silken tofu, yogurt, powdered milk, or cottage cheese, to the shake. with the other goodies in the shake, she won't even know it's there!
another suggestion: don't plan on giving her any carbonated drinks because they burn like fire on a raw throat. (i would even go easy on the high-citrus fruits like pineapple and orange) koolaid-type drinks will be infinitely better. my son wanted sherbet, popsicles, and watery soups when he had his tonsils out. we'll be sure to keep her in our prayers on tuesday!
