Montezuma Pie

Ingredients:

6 cups boned, skinned, cooked chicken or turkey, cut into 2" pieces
Green Sauce (recipe follows)
2 cups Sour Cream
1 dozen Corn Tortillas, cut into 1 1/2" pieces
1 1/2 pounds Jack Cheese, shredded

Arrange half the meat pieces in a lightly greased 9"x13" baking pan. Spread over
with half the green sauce and half the sour cream; top with half the tortilla
pieces and half the cheese.

Repeat layers using remaining meat, green sauce, sour cream and tortillas,
ending with remaining cheese.

Cover dish w/ foil and refrigerate overnight if necessary.

Bake, covered at 375 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes. Uncover and bake additional 8
minutes or until cheese is bubbly and casserole is hot throughout.

Cut into squares to serve. Makes 8-12 servings.

Green Sauce

In a blender, combine 1 can (14 oz) Mexican tomatillos, drained; 1 small onion,
chopped; 2 garlic cloves; 1 can (4 oz) whole green chiles, pith and seeds
removed; 1 bunch (about 1/2 cup) chopped fresh cilantro; 1 tsp salt and 1/2
