Recipe(tried): Northwoods Maple Nut Cookie - Another great exchange recipe

These are wonderful and the recipe makes a lot.
Northwoods Maple Nut Cookie
6 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons cream of tarter
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cups margarine
1 cup oil
5 teaspoons maple flavoring (extract)
3 eggs
2 cups toasted pecans, chopped*
*To toast pecans spread on cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees F. for 6-8 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Watch carefully so they don't burn.
Combine flour, cream of tarter, baking powder and salt. Set aside. Beat sugars, margarine, oil, maple flavoring and eggs until well blended. Gradually stir in flour mixutre, mixing well. Stir in nuts. Cover dough with plastic wrap and chill at least 1 hour or until firm. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Shape dough into 1" balls. Place them 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 8-10 minutes or until light golden brown. Makes 10 dozen cookies.
