Recipe(tried): Pasta Salad (using wide egg noodles)

Pasta Salad

1 (12 oz.) pkg. Light'n'Fluffy brand wide noodles (my favorite for this recipe)
1 can black olives, sliced
1 medium purple onion, chopped
1 large carrot, shredded
1 (2 oz.) jar pimientos, drained
1 medium green pepper, chopped (or red or yellow or combination)
1/2 to 1 lb. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled (actually, I chop it raw, then fry)
1 to 2 cups ranch dressing (my favorite is the mix they have at Sam's Clubs)

Cook noodles as package directs. Drain, rinse and cool. Mix in remaining ingredients. Pour dressing over and mix well. Salt and pepper to taste. Chill at least one hour.
