Recipe(tried): Peach Tart

Desserts - Pies and Tarts
I made this first as a pie, but I have to admit, it turned out as a tart. It was delicious! It was the most scrumptious thing I had ever tasted since my soft apple pie.

PEACH TART

1 1/2 cups flour
11 tablespoons butter
1 egg
9 tbsp sugar, divided use
1 tsp baking powder, divided use
a pinch of salt
3 small ripe peaches
3 tbsp ground cinnamon
3 tsp ground nutmeg

Mix the flour, butter, egg, 4 tbsp. sugar, 1/2 tsp baking powder and salt. Knead until it is not sticky. Put the dough in pie or tart or jelly roll pan.

Peel and cut peaches and mix with cinnamon, nutmeg and 3 tbsp sugar. Add the peaches. Sprinkle with remaining 2 tbsp sugar, and remaining 1/2 tsp baking powder.

Put the dough in pie or tart or jelly roll pan. Add the peaches. Top with spices of your choice.

Bake in a 375 degree Fahrenheit oven for 30-45 minutes. Take out and cool for 5-10 minutes.

Cut and Enjoy!
