Recipe: Pizza Gon A Rye

Misc.

and under control. I always use the following appetizer as I make two or three batches and freeze. These are always the first thing to vanish. I would make 4 or 5 batches and freeze for the amount you are having. Also if this sounds interesting I have others. Let me know. Were in AR do you live?

PIZZA GON-A-RYE

1 1/2 loaves Party rye
2 lbs Ground meat or turkey or pork sausage
1 lb velveta cheese
1 tblsp catsup
1 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1 10 oz jar pizza sauce
grated parmesan cheese (can use fresh or canned. I like fresh)

Cook sausage or meat and drain well. Return to skillet and add cheese (in chunks, so wil melt faster) & ketchup cook over low heat till melted. Add spices-mix thorughly. Spread Pizza sauce on rey bread, top with sausage/meat mixture top with grated parmesan.
Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Pre-Heat Oven First. If you like to assemble and put on cookie sheet and freeze. When frozen remove from cookie sheet and place in plastic bags. Bake as directed above. Delicious
