Recipe(tried): REC: Low-cal Key Lime pie

Desserts - Pies and Tarts

Oooh! Do I love the taste of key lime pie!
:-)!!!

Try this recipe, which is easy to fix, and one of my favorites:

Low-cal graham cracker crust (ready made)
- or-
Spoon graham cracker crumbs into individual ramekins

For filling:
Mix key lime marmelade (a bit hard to find, but usually available at specialty grocers)with fat-free or low-fat Cool Whip. Add green food coloring, if desired. Freeze and serve!

You probably could also take the recipe for Cherry Cheese pie (the one that uses sweetened condensed milk) and modify it using low fat ingredients, and flavoring it with lime instead of a cherry pie filling, to get a non-frozen key lime pie that has fewer calories.
