Reuben Bread
recipelink.com Chat Room Recipe Swap - 2001-09-08
From: rec.food.recipes
unrisen bread dough from the bread machine or wrapping bread
deli mustard
pastrami or corned beef
Swiss cheese
sweet sauerkraut with some caraway seeds
Either wrap the filling on bread or use unrisen bread dough from the bread machine. We prefer to use the bread dough..
Roll out the bread dough. Spread generously with good mustard such as deli mustard. Place over that layers of pastrami or corned beef, Swiss cheese, and well-drained sweet sauerkraut with some caraway seeds. Rolled up jelly roll style. Seal ends by pinching tightly. Let rise for about 20 minutes. Bake like bread at 350 until the outside is turning golden.
