ROSEMARY COOKIES
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses
1 3/4 cups sifted flour
1 tablespoon baking soda
2 teaspoons ground dried rosemary
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon salt
Cream butter and sugar together; add egg and molasses.
Combine remaining ingredients and stir into molasses mixture; mix well. Drop by scant teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes at 325 degrees F.
Makes 5 dozen cookies
