EAST-WEST STIR-FRY
1 tablespoon oil
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 (10 oz.) can condensed chicken broth
1 cup thinly sliced carrots
4 large mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup sliced green onions
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 (10 oz.) pkg. fresh spinach, stems removed and tom into pieces
Heat oil in large skillet. Break ground beef into large chunks and stir-fry for 3 minutes or until no longer pink. Remove meat and set aside.
Add broth, carrots and mushrooms to skillet. Cook over high heat for 3 minutes.
Stir in onion, meat and mixture of Worcestershire sauce and cornstarch. Bring to a boil; cook 1 minute. Stir in spinach and cook until wilted.
Makes 4-5 servings
