1 lb. ground beef
1 large onion
8 oz tomato sauce
2 cups water
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp celery seed
1/2 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp salt
3 Tbsp chili powder
1 tsp crushed red pepper
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp dry mustard
Simmer onion and meat until meat is in fine pieces. Add remaining ingredients and simmer an additional 2 hours.
Hamburger Hot:
