Rugelach
6 cups flour
1/2 lb. margarine
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
3 egg yolks
2 oz. yeast
3/4 cup warm water
3/4 cup orange juice
FILLING:
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups chopped walnuts
1/2 to 1 cup raisins
1 to 2 tbsp. cinnamon
Dough:
Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Place flour in large bowl leaving hole in center. Pour yeast mixture in center. Mix with small amount of nearby flour. Let rise for 5 minutes.
Add rest of ingredients and knead for 10-15 minutes.
Let rise for 2 hours.
Divide into 4 parts. Roll out each part and cut into triangles.
Place some filling on each triangle and roll beginning at wide end of triangle into crescent shapes. Place on lightly greased baking sheets. Let rise for 30 minutes.
Bake at 350 degrees 20-30 minutes or until done.

I haven't tried this recipe but it's the closest I found to the one you described.
