Recipe: Salisbury Steak

Salisbury Steak

I have a recipe for Salisbury steak from Husband's Grandmother. Basically:

1 lb ground beef
1 egg
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup chopped onion (optional)
1 can Campbell's Golden Mushroom soup, divided

Mix together ground beef, egg, bread crumbs and 1/4 cup of condensed soup. Form into patties, and put in a baking dish with edges touching. bake 350 F for 30 minutes. Mix remaining soup with 1/3 c water. Pour over patties and bake 10 minutes more.

Goes well with mashed potatoes. My Husband loves this and we have it about once a month.
